On Tues 12th October at 18:30 BST we’re webcasting a Q&A live from Tate Modern, with the new turbine hall artist Ai Weiwei.

Tweets on the tag #tateaww will be displayed in the auditorium during the Question and Answer session. Some tweeted questions will be put to Ai Weiwei so that online audiences can take part in the session.
Also in the Turbine Hall are 8 video messaging screens where you can leave a message for the artist, which will be instantly uploaded to this site http://aiweiwei.tate.org.uk/ . The video system has been set up by our very own video maestro Mr Stuart Smith, who’s been working with cogapp on the interactive bits of the installation. Stuart created the Speakolascope, which uses some of the same technology- but he’s pushed it even further for this project. Fantastic interactive stuff isn’t it?!
