As part of her Sounds from a Room performance the songwriter will première her latest Heapsong, a song written using crowd sourced material through her latest project The Listening Chair. Imogen is is searching the globe for material for her upcoming album using a physical chair that is asking fans the question, “What is the song that still needs to be written?”

The Listening Chair can be found in the foyer of the Royal Festival Hall this weekend (16 – 17 June 2012).

Previous Sounds from a Room performances include the likes of Wildbirds & Peacedrums and Andrew Bird.
