Sounds from a Room: Natalie Clein
Sensational British cellist Natalie Clein is the next artist to perform on A Room for London’s Sounds from a Room on Friday 24th August 2012 at 6pm (BST).
Natalie first came into the public eye at the age of sixteen winning the BBC Young Musician of the Year and the Eurovision Competition for Young Musicians. She has since gained a wealth of experience, performing with orchestras including the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, New Zealand Symphony and Western Australia Symphony. For her performance in A Room for London, Natalie will create a tapestry of music, all for solo cello, written between 1730 and 2012, and will only complete this during her stay on the boat.
Here is a video of Natalie performing for Sky Arts Music Room.
Watch the live stream on A Room for London, Guardian Music or via large screen at Queen Elizabeth Hall Front Room, Southbank Centre at 6pm (BST) on 24 August 2012.
